To fix this, edit the game in Playnite and go to Actions, change Tracking mode to folder, and point it to the folder where VirtualBox is installed (Default is C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox). The way I did it is to just go to the BIOS folder of the platform I was using which, for me, was Batocera, and I just emptied it out completely. I've seen ppl talking about booting into emulation station, batocera, dedicated retro os for emulation purposes. Potentially you may need to update paths in the Emulation Station config (roms location / downloaded media location) to point to the new home.
